Ocean
An ocean-esque glaze is hand-painted onto the stoneware, resembling the waves and depths of the sea.
View collectionHello! Welcome to 梁Ceramics, my pottery shop. I'm Josiah, a hobby ceramicist who let delusion take hold after taking one pottery class with my colleagues in 2024. One class became a 6-week wheel intro, which became another, and soon after, I was looking at studio memberships. But even though I have a year's worth of pottery experience, I'd like to think my wares are pretty good. If not, at least they're good-looking.
Why 梁? Pronounced "liang", it's the Chinese character of Neo, my surname, family name, last name, however it goes. Neo Ceramics was unfortunately taken, and I don't really want to compete with someone from Australia on the SEO front. But I love my name, and with each piece I make, be it on the wheel or on the slab roller, I'd like whoever receives it to know it was from me.
Even though my catalogue isn't ginormous, I hope that every piece finds its way into a loving home, whether it's yours or a loved one's. My creations are all functional and meant to be part of yours - and your pets' - daily lives. From making your morning matcha latte to having a cup of tea to wind down, my ceramics will upgrade your everyday rituals.

I've been told I have a severe case of sayanythingitis, so here are the receipts immortalised in clay. Some are my favourite things I've said. The others I wish I had said first.
